Seeking a Change Management Consultant to support complex business transition and transformation projects. As a full-time role with BTC, the Change Management Consultant will work with clients and consultants as part of the change team, providing assistance to a broad range of stakeholders to support sponsorship, navigation, change enablement and knowledge transfer to adopt a major business change. The Change Management Consultant is passionate about planning, coordinating and delivering change to a developing learning interventions based on changes to roles/skills/ processes and technologies to realize the benefits of working with new business activities. The Change Management Consultant should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

- Under the direction of the Change Management Lead, develop and execute a change management plan from intake to completion.
- Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
- Report on readiness, change impact (people, systems, processes etc.), and project risks.
- Measure success metrics and monitor change progress including training effectiveness and user adoption.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders.
- Create and execute on enablement strategies and plans, including intake and needs assessments.
- Work in a team to plan quality, outcome-based training.
- Develop executive presentations and status reports.
- Develop learning materials such as training decks, job aids, and instructions.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Provide input to the required documentation/deliverables and monitor/assess to mitigate risks, ensure quality outputs and track progress.
- Work with Business Owner/Sponsor to identify change adoption metrics
- Provide feedback to team members; provide on-going feedback and performance reviews, coach and develop employees.

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, including but not limited to Business Administration, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Change Management.
- 3+ years developing and implementing training/change management strategies.
- Experience in working on transformational, change initiatives.
- Exceptional consulting and communication skills including an engaging presentation style, strong group facilitation skills, and clear and precise writing.
- Experience creating clear, consumable learning materials to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to collaborate, build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results.
- Experience with informal learning, blended learning, reinforcement programs.
- Utilities experience is an asset.

Work Location: Remote. This role is primarily work from home (WFH) but there will be occasional requirements to attend in-person meetings with internal and external project teams.
